Maternity Leave

Umugore ukorera umushahara afite uburenganzira ku kiruhuko cyo kubyara cy'ibyumweru 12   kandi icyo gihe cyose agahabwa umushahara. Umugore agomba gutangira ikiruhuko ibyumweru bibiri mbere y'uko abyara. Iyo umubyeyi abyaye umwana upfuye cyangwa umwana agapfa nyuma y'ukwezi avutse, ahabwa ikiruhuko cy'ibyumweru bine uhereye umunsi umwana yapfiriyeho (byose hamwe ni ibyumweru bitandatu) (Ingingo ya 64 y'itegeko ry'umurimo). Amezi 6 abanza umwana akivuka umugore uhembwa umushahara uri mu kiruhuko cyo kubyara ahembwa umushahara we wose. Naho mu byumweru 6 bya nyuma, uwo mugore ashobora kugaruka ku kazi agahembwa umushahara we wose cg iyo ahisemo kuguma mu kiruhuko cyo kubyara ahabwa 20% y'umushahara we. (Ingingo ya 65)
