Salary starting debt-collectors ZAR6,998 to ZAR25,591 per month

14 Apr,2024 - After 5 years of work experience, debt-collectors earn a monthly wage that ranges from ZAR3,915 to ZAR28,309. Since starting their first job, 58% of workers in this occupation have worked fewer than 5 years. This is evident from research conducted by Mywage.org/Zimbabwe, in 2024.

Highest salary for debt-collectors with 15 years of experience: ZAR1,174 to ZAR29,121 per month

Workers with 15 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between ZAR1,174 and ZAR29,121 per month. Veteran workers with 30 years worth of experience can earn an hourly wage between ZAR1 and ZAR125 per hour.

Debt-collectors mostly female

55% of employees state that they do not have any children. The age group for employees who answered the survey was mostly between 24 and 29 years of age. Most employees are female, based on the survey results.

Employees work 41 hours per week on average. Coverage by collective bargaining amongst workers is 5%, while 95% are not covered by a collective agreement, according to our survey.

Coworkers mostly female

58% of workers have worked fewer than 5 years since their first job. In most cases, employees report that the majority of their coworkers are female. People in this job who do not have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, added up to 45% of respondents. 28% of all participating workers in this occupation work in a multinational organisation. People in this job mostly work in organisations consisting of 500 or more people. 55% of people in this job state that they have a permanent contract for the work that they are doing.

The survey shows that 2% of the employees feel highly satisfied about their position. On the whole, workers feel in between satisfied and dissatisfied about their job. This feeling is shared by 28% of the workers.
