Based on our survey, workers with 05 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between ZAR1,562 and ZAR32,253 per month. Very experienced people in this job that are working for 30 years, receive a salary ranging from ZAR804 to ZAR28,214 per month.

Of the employees who participated in the survey, 48% have no children. Among the employees who share information on their wages and working conditions, most are male. Workers who answered the survey are mostly between 24 and 29 years of age.

Coverage by collective bargaining amongst employees is 6%, while 94% are not covered by a collective agreement, according to our survey. On average, employees work 40 hours per week.

Majority organisations employ 500 or more workers

People in this job who have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, add up to 45%. Workers who do not have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, added up to 55% of respondents. Workers mostly work in organisations consisting of 500 or more people.
