Chemical engineers mostly male

Workers who answered the survey are mostly between 24 and 29 years of age. 86% says they are male, while 14% entered female as their gender. 57% of workers in this occupation state that they do not have any children.

Average working week of 40 hours

According to our survey, coverage by collective bargaining among workers is set at 6%. 94% are not covered by a collective agreement. Workers work 40 hours per week on average.

56% of chemical engineers fewer than 5 years of work experience

Since starting their first job, 56% of people in this job have worked fewer than 5 years. For most people in this job, the majority of their coworkers are male. People in this job who have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, add up to 60%. The majority of employees work in organisations of 500 or more employees. 40% of people in this job state that they have no permanent contract for their job. 40% of all participating workers work in a multinational organisation.
