Highest salary for civil engineering technicians with 15 years of experience: GH₵2,482 to GH₵8,868 per month
Based on our survey, workers with 15 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between GH₵2,482 and GH₵8,868 per month. Veteran employees with 30 years worth of experience can earn an hourly wage between GH₵7 and GH₵14 per hour.
Civil engineering technicians mostly male
The age group for employees who answered the survey was mostly between 24 and 29 years of age. 61% of workers in this occupation state that they do not have any children. Among the employees who share information on their wages and working conditions, most are male.
On average, employees work 40 hours per week. According to our survey, coverage by collective bargaining among employees is set at 7%. 93% are not covered by a collective agreement.
63% of civil engineering technicians fewer than 5 years of work experience

Workers in this occupation mostly work in organisations consisting of 500 or more people. 63% of workers in this occupation have worked fewer than 5 years since their first job. Workers in this occupation who have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, add up to 54%. 29% of all participating employees work in a multinational organisation.
In the survey, 9% of the workers in this occupation choose 'highly satisfied' as their job satisfaction level. In general, most workers are satisfied with their position. This is the case for 32% of the workers.
