Inexperienced traditional and complementary medicine associate professionals earn hourly wage between GH₵5 and GH₵12
Employees with 15 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between GH₵1,765 and GH₵6,282 per month. Workers earn between GH₵5 and GH₵12 per hour at the start of the career, having 1 year of work experience.
Traditional and complementary medicine associate professionals mostly male
Employees who answered the survey are mostly between 24 and 29 years of age. Of the employees who participated in the survey, 61% have no children. 70% says they are male, while 30% entered female as their gender.
Average working week of 41 hours
Coverage by collective bargaining amongst workers in this occupation is 5%, while 95% are not covered by a collective agreement, according to our survey. On average, employees work 41 hours per week.
76% of traditional and complementary medicine associate professionals fewer than 5 years of work experience
The majority of workers work in organisations of 500 or more employees. 47% of workers in this occupation state that they have no permanent contract for their job. For most people in this job, the majority of their coworkers are male. Workers in this occupation who have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, add up to 53%.
