Most advertising and public relations managers not satisfied with job

24 Aug 2023 - Advertising and public relations managers who have 10 years of experience in their job, will earn between K8,669 and K167,708 per month. Generally, 35% of the workers report they are dissatisfied with their salary. This is made clear in research by Mywage.org/Zambia, conducted in 2023.

Highest salary for advertising and public relations managers with 25 years of experience: K8,515 to K333,217 per month

Employees with 25 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between K8,515 and K333,217 per month. Employees with 10 years of work experience can expect to earn between K42 and K807 per hour.

The age group for workers who answered the survey was mostly between 30 and 39 years of age. 53% of the respondents are female, 47% are male. 37% of workers state that they do not have any children.

Average working week of 44 hours

On average, workers work 44 hours per week. Coverage by collective bargaining amongst workers in this occupation is 3%, while 97% are not covered by a collective agreement, according to our survey.

53% of all participating workers in this occupation work in a multinational organisation. In most cases, employees report that the majority of their coworkers are female. 67% of workers state that they have a permanent contract for the work that they are doing. Employees mostly work in organisations consisting of 500 or more people. 33% of employees state that they have no permanent contract for their job. 40% of people in this job have worked fewer than 5 years since their first job.
