Based on our survey, workers in this occupation with 20 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between K5,418 and K16,153 per month. Veteran employees, working for at least 30 years, receive between K21 and K59 per hour.
Workers who answered the survey are mostly between 24 and 29 years of age. 73% of people in this job have 1 child or more. 49% of the respondents are female, 51% are male.
Average working week of 43 hours
On average, workers work 43 hours per week. According to our survey, coverage by collective bargaining among workers is set at 7%. 93% are not covered by a collective agreement.
64% of clerical support workers fewer than 5 years of work experience
The majority of employees work in organisations of 500 or more employees. 64% of employees have worked fewer than 5 years since their first job. Workers who have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, add up to 51%. Workers in this occupation who do not have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, added up to 49% of respondents. Of the participating employees, 35% work in a multinational organisation. In most cases, employees report that the majority of their coworkers are female.
The survey shows that 6% of the workers in this occupation feel highly satisfied about their position. On the whole, employees feel in between satisfied and dissatisfied about their job. This feeling is shared by 42% of the employees.
