Based on our survey, workers with 15 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between K7,723 and K71,844 per month. Very experienced workers in this occupation that are working for 30 years, receive a salary ranging from K11,142 to K56,803 per month.
The age group for workers who answered the survey was mostly between 24 and 29 years of age. Based on the survey results, most workers in this occupation are female. 42% of employees state that they do not have any children.
Average working week of 41 hours
Employees work 41 hours per week on average. Coverage by collective bargaining amongst employees is 5%, while 95% are not covered by a collective agreement, according to our survey.
56% of commercial sales representatives fewer than 5 years of work experience
Of the participating employees, 35% work in a multinational organisation. Since starting their first job, 56% of workers have worked fewer than 5 years. For most workers in this occupation, the majority of their coworkers are female. The majority of workers in this occupation work in organisations of 500 or more employees. 63% of workers state that they have a permanent contract for the work that they are doing. Workers in this occupation who do not have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, added up to 37% of respondents.
In the survey, 10% of the employees choose 'highly satisfied' as their job satisfaction level. On the whole, employees feel in between satisfied and dissatisfied about their job. This feeling is shared by 29% of the employees.
