Majority chemical engineers covered by collective agreement

Based on one year of work experience, starting workers who are new to their job will earn between USh702,990 and USh2,832,400 per month. This is made clear in research by Mywage.org/Uganda, conducted in 2024.

Workers in this occupation with 25 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between USh1,043,159 and USh4,347,437 per month. Employees who are new to the job, will earn between USh702,990 and USh2,832,400 per month, based on one year of work experience.

Chemical engineers mostly male

Most people in this job are male, based on the survey results. 37% of employees state that they do not have any children. People in this job who answered the survey are mostly between 24 and 29 years of age.
