Paternity Leave

A male employee or a new father, after the birth of a child or the miscarriage of a wife, is entitled to paid 4 working days of paternity leave in a year. During paternity leave, the employee is paid full wages by the employer and shall have the right to retain employment.

Parental Leave

There is no provision in the law on paid or unpaid parental leave.

Flexible Work Option for Parents / Work-Life Balance

No provisions could be located in the law supporting work-life balance for parents or workers with family responsibilities. However, the expectant mother is provided with flexible working hours, a lighter workload, and alternative arrangements of work.
