  • 26 May 2020 - The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo, has stated that the number of deaths in the country due to coronavirus is one of the lowest in the world. Out of the 194,763 tests conducted, only 6683 were positive. The death rate stands at one per million which is only 0.0001 percent. The deaths recorded in the country have been of people suffering from underlying conditions. Ghana has recorded a total of 32 deaths due to Covid-19 in the last two months.
