Collective bargaining coverage limited among construction supervisors

27 May 2023 - Among the people in this job, 33% reported they are highly dissatisfied with their wage. This is the conclusion of research carried out by Mywage.org/Namibia, in 2022.

Coworkers mostly female

36% of people in this job have worked fewer than 5 years since their first job. Workers who do not have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, added up to 23% of respondents. The majority of employees work in organisations of 500 or more employees. 77% of people in this job state that they have a permanent contract for the work that they are doing. In most cases, people in this job report that the majority of their coworkers are female. 58% of all participating workers work in a multinational organisation.

Wage dissatisfaction high among construction supervisors

Of all surveyed employees, 33% feel highly dissatisfied about their salary. Generally, 36% of the people in this job report they are dissatisfied with their salary.
