Office supervisors who have 15 years of experience in their job, will earn between €1,649 and €2,272 per month. This is evident from research conducted by Mywage.org/Malta, in 2024.
Based on our survey, employees with 25 years of work experience earn the highest salary: between €1,910 and €2,636 per month. Veteran employees, working for at least 30 years, receive between €11 and €15 per hour.
Office supervisors mostly female
The age group for workers who answered the survey was mostly between 20 and 24 years of age. 8% says they are male, while 92% entered female as their gender.
According to our survey, coverage by collective bargaining among workers in this occupation is set at 1%. 99% are not covered by a collective agreement. On average, employees work 39 hours per week.
Majority organisations employ 500 or more workers
48% of workers in this occupation have worked fewer than 5 years since their first job. For most workers in this occupation, the majority of their coworkers are female. Workers mostly work in organisations consisting of 500 or more people. Of the participating workers in this occupation, 45% work in a multinational organisation. 35% of people in this job state that they have no permanent contract for their job. Workers who have a permanent contract for the work they are performing, add up to 65%.
Of all surveyed workers, 36% feel in between satisfied and dissatisfied about their salary. Generally, 44% of the workers report they are dissatisfied with their salary.
