24 March 2020 - On Tuesday, Prime Minister Dr Hubert Minnis announced that Bahamas shall be transitioning from a partial lockdown to a total lockdown, mandating a 24 hour curfew for all non-essential persons, with only exceptions for those visiting for the provision of essential services. He further said that all industries were to operate on a ‘work from home’ basis. Industries which could not do this were to be closed.
