Why is Gender important for Wages?

When collecting, reporting, and evaluating wages, it is crucial to take gender inequalities into consideration since these discrepancies frequently result from gender dynamics, with women typically earning less than men. Wage differences between men and women are primarily influenced by differences in hours worked (with men working significantly longer hours), types of work taken up, the complications of types of pay, bonuses received, promotions, job responsibilities, years of experience, and differences in skill sets. It is also worth noting that men are paid less than women in some specific industries around the world. Given the complexities of all of these influences, gender becomes a crucial component in calculating and evaluating wages with accuracy and is thus taken into account in the Salary Calculator.
