올리버 크롬웰(Oliver Cromwell, 1599년 4월 25일 ~ 1658년 9월 3일)은 잉글랜드의 정치가이자 군인으로 브리튼 제도의 역사에서 두각을 나타낸 사람 가운데 한 명으로 꼽힌다. 1639년부터 1653년까지 있었던 삼왕국 전쟁에서 의회파의 군사지휘관으로 명성을 얻었으며 이를 발판으로 정치가가 되었다. 1649년 1월 찰스 1세의 처형을 주도하였고 이후 수립된 잉글랜드 공화국에서 호국경이 된 그는 1653년 12월부터 1658년 9월 사망할 때까지 잉글랜드의 공위시대 동안 호국경 정치의 최고 권력자였다. 크롬웰은 신형군을 동원하여 정치 권력을 장악한 것과 1649년 시작된 크롬웰의 아일랜드 정복에서 보인 잔혹함으로 역사적 평가에 논란이 있다.
