Jobs and Pay

In Ireland, a lawyer's salary is significantly higher than a supermarket cashier. Lawyers typically earn €5023 per month, whereas supermarket cashiers make €3393, resulting in a roughly 32.5% difference, per WageIndicator Foundation. Lawyers provide legal advice and representation in court, negotiate settlements, and draft legal documents. Cashiers, on the other hand, handle customer transactions at supermarkets, scanning and bagging groceries and processing payments. Do you think this gap is justifiable?
